O Ministro Antonio de Aguiar Patriota realizará visita de trabalho a La Paz em 25 de março, quando manterá reunião com o Ministro das Relações Exteriores da Bolívia, David Choquehuanca.

Serão examinados temas das agendas bilateral, regional e multilateral. No plano bilateral, será conferida ênfase a áreas como integração fronteiriça, produção agrícola, integração energética e combate ao problema mundial das drogas.

Os Chanceleres assinarão ajustes complementares ao Acordo Básico de Cooperação Técnica, Científica e Tecnológica Brasil-Bolívia em matéria de capacitação profissional e produção agropecuária. Está prevista, ainda, a assinatura de acordo por troca de notas para a criação de Comitês de Integração na região fronteiriça.

O Brasil é o principal parceiro comercial da Bolívia. Em 2010, o intercâmbio comercial atingiu US$ 3,3 bilhões, o que representou aumento de 32% em relação a 2009.

Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota to visit Bolivia

Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota will make a working visit to La Paz in 25 March 2011, when he will hold a meeting with the Minister of External Relations of Bolivia, David Choquehuanca.

They will go over issues in the bilateral, regional and multilateral agendas. In the bilateral agenda, they will focus on border integration, agricultural production, energy integration and fight against the global drug problem.

The Foreign Ministers will sign Complementary Agreements to the Brazil-Bolivia Basic Agreement on Technical, Scientific and Technological Cooperation in the areas of professional training and agricultural and livestock production. An agreement will be signed by exchange of Notes to create Integration Committees in border areas.

Brazil is Bolivia’s main trade partner. In 2010, trade exchange reached US$3.3 billion, an increase of 32% in relation to 2009.
