O Ministro dos Negócios Estrangeiros do Zimbábue, Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, realizará visita oficial a Brasília em 16 de novembro 2010.

O Ministro Mumbengegwi e delegação manterão encontro com o Ministro Celso Amorim, que lhes oferecerá almoço de trabalho. Serão discutidos aspectos das relações bilaterais e a situação política do Zimbábue, à luz da implementação do Acordo Político Global.

Durante a visita, serão assinados o Memorando para o Estabelecimento de Mecanismo de Consultas Políticas e o Acordo sobre o Exercício de Atividade Remunerada por parte de Dependentes do Pessoal Diplomático, Consular, Militar, Administrativo e Técnico.

Em 2008, o comércio bilateral chegou a US$ 14,5 milhões. Com a crise financeira mundial, o intercâmbio caiu para US$ 5,9 milhões no ano passado. Em 2010, a corrente de comércio dá sinais de recuperação. O acumulado de janeiro a setembro já supera o intercâmbio de todo o ano de 2009, atingindo US$ 6 milhões, com superávit brasileiro de US$ 4 milhões.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Zimbabwe, Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, will make an official visit to Brasília on 16 November 2010.
 
Minister Mumbengegwi and his delegation will hold a meeting with Minister Celso Amorim, who will offer them a working luncheon.  They will address bilateral affairs and the political situation in Zimbabwe under the implementation of the Global Political Agreement.
 
During the visit, agreements such as the Memorandum on the Establishment of Political Consultations and the Agreement on the Performance of Remunerated Activities by Dependants of Diplomatic, Consular, Military, Administrative and Technical Staff, will be signed.
 
In 2008, bilateral trade reached US$ 14.5 million. With the global financial crisis, the exchange fell to US$ 5.9 million last year.  In 2010, the trade flow has given signs of recovery.  The amount accrued from January to September 2010 surpassed the total sum of 2009, having reached US$ 6 million, with a Brazilian surplus of US$ 4 million.
