A Ministra dos Negócios Estrangeiros da França, Michèle Alliot-Marie, realiza visita oficial ao Brasil em 21 e 22 de fevereiro.

No dia 21, a Chanceler francesa tem agenda de compromissos em São Paulo. No dia 22, em Brasília, manterá reunião de trabalho com Ministro Antonio de Aguiar Patriota. No encontro, que terá lugar no Palácio Itamaraty, serão avaliados os desdobramentos da Parceria Estratégica bilateral em diferentes áreas, como energia e cooperação transfronteiriça. Os dois Ministros também discutirão temas da agenda internacional, como mudança do clima e a reforma das instituições de governança global, com ênfase na expansão do Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas e nos debates no âmbito do G20.

Entre 2009 e 2010, as exportações para a França registraram aumento de 23%, o que fez o volume das vendas brasileiras elevar-se de US$ 2,9 bilhões para US$ 3,5 bilhões. A França é o 8º parceiro comercial e o 5º maior investidor no Brasil, país que é o principal destino dos investimentos franceses na América Latina.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Michèle Alliot-Marie, to visit Brazil – São Paulo and Brasília, 21 and 22 February 2011

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Michèle Alliot-Marie, will make an official visit to Brazil on 21 and 22 February 2011.

On February 21, the French Foreign Minister has a work agenda in São Paulo. On February 22, in Brasília, she will have a working meeting with Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota. At the meeting, to be held at Palácio Itamaraty, they will assess the developments of the Bilateral Strategic Partnership, in areas such as energy and border cooperation. The Ministers will also address issues in the international agenda, such as climate change and the reform of global governance institutions, focusing on the expansion of the United Nations Security Council and on the debates within the G20.

Between 2009 and 2010, exports to France increased 23%, which made Brazilian sales to the country rise from US$2.9 billion to US$3.5 billion. France is Brazil’s 8th top trading partner and 5th top foreign investor. Brazil is also the main destination for French investments in Latin America.
