A Chanceler do México, Patricia Espinosa, e o Secretário de Economia, Bruno Ferrari, realizarão visita de trabalho ao Brasil, ocasião em que serão recebidos pelo Ministro das Relações Exteriores, Antonio de Aguiar Patriota.

Brasil e México decidiram dar início à negociação do Acordo Estratégico de Integração Econômica entre os dois países. Os Ministros também examinarão a agenda regional e global, incluindo a recente constituição, em Caracas, da Comunidade de Estados Latino-Americanos e Caribenhos, a presidência mexicana do G-20 financeiro e a Conferência Rio+20.

O comércio bilateral registra importante aumento em 2011, sendo o intercâmbio no período de janeiro a outubro (US$ 7,33 bilhões) já praticamente equivalente a todo o ano de 2010 (US$ 7,57 bilhões). O Brasil é o maior destino dos investimentos mexicanos na América Latina, com estoque de cerca de US$ 17 bilhões. O México tem sido o destino de grandes projetos de investimento por parte de empresas brasileiras. O estoque de investimento do Brasil chega a cerca de US$ 1,1 bilhão e deverá ultrapassar US$ 4 bilhões até 2015.

The Foreign Secretary of Mexico, Patricia Espinosa, and the Finance Secretary, Bruno Ferrari, have made a working visit to Brazil, when they were received by the Minister of External Relations, Antonio de Aguiar Patriota.

Brazil and Mexico have decided to start negotiations on a Strategic Agreement for Economic Integration between the two countries. The Ministers have also examined regional and global affairs, including the recent constitution, in Caracas, of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, the Mexican Presidency of the financial G20 and the Rio+20 Conference.

Bilateral trade has risen significantly in 2011, with the exchange between January and October (US$ 7.33 billion) practically matching that of the entire year of 2010 (US$ 7.57 billion). Brazil is the main destination for Mexican investments in Latin America, with a stock of nearly US$ 17 billion. Mexico has received large investment projects by Brazilian companies. The Brazilian stock investment amounts to nearly US$ 1.1 billion and will exceed US$ 4 billion by 2015.
