O Ministro Antonio de Aguiar Patriota participará da Reunião Anual do Fórum Econômico Mundial, em Davos, Suíça, de 27 a 29 de janeiro, em representação do Governo brasileiro. O Fórum busca engajar líderes e empresários do mundo inteiro em discussões de alto nível sobre os principais temas da agenda internacional. O encontro deste ano discutirá, entre outras questões, a recuperação da economia mundial.

O Ministro Antonio de Aguiar Patriota participará de eventos do Fórum dedicados ao Brasil e à América Latina e de uma mesa redonda sobre a reconstrução do Haiti, junto com os Presidentes do Banco Mundial e do Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento. Manterá encontros bilaterais com autoridades da África do Sul, China, Índia, Austrália, Reino Unido, Suíça, Alemanha, Estados Unidos e União Europeia.

Participará ainda de encontro informal de líderes sobre a Conferência Rio + 20, que será realizada no Brasil em 2012, e de reunião informal de Ministros, convidados pelo Governo suíço para tratar da Rodada Doha.

Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota to take part in the Annual Meeting of the Davos World Economic Forum - Davos, 27-29 January 2011
 
Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota will take part in the Annual Meeting of World Economic Forum, in Davos, Switzerland, from 27 to 29 January as a representative of the Brazilian Government.  The Forum aims at engaging leaders and the business class from around the world in high-level discussions on the main affairs in the international agenda.  This year’s meeting will address, among other issues, the recovery of the world economy.

Minister Antonio de Aguiar Patriota will participate in Forum events dealing with Brazil and Latin America, and in a round table on Haiti reconstruction, alongside the Presidents of the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank.  He will hold bilateral meetings with officials from South Africa, China, India, Australia, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, United States and European Union. 
 
He will also join an informal meeting of leaders on the Rio +20 Conferece, to be held in Brazil in 2012, and in an informal Ministers’ Meeting, at the invitation of the Swiss Government to address the Doha Round.
