O Governo brasileiro manifesta sua solidariedade com os familiares das mais de duzentas vítimas do naufrágio da embarcação MV Spice Islander, que fazia, na noite de sábado último, o percurso Unguja-Pemba, no arquipélago de Zanzibar, na Tanzânia.

Em gesto de apoio ao povo tanzaniano, a Petrobras Tanzânia, que iniciou, recentemente, operações de exploração off-shore no país, colocou à disposição dois helicópteros e um navio de segurança para participar das buscas e dos resgates dos naufragados.

The Brazilian Government conveys its solidarity to the families of more than 200 victims of the MV Spice Islander shipwreck, which was connecting the islands of Unguja and Pemba, last Saturday, in the Zanzibar archipelago, in Tanzania.

In supporting the Tanzanian people, Petrobras Tanzania, which has recently started its offshore operations in the country, offered two helicopters and a safety ship to take part in the search and rescue of victims.
