O Ministro Celso Amorim enviou hoje as seguintes mensagens aos Ministros das Relações Exteriores da Bolívia, David Choquehuanca Céspedes, e do Peru, José Antonio García Belaúnde, a propósito da Declaração de Ilo, firmada em 19 de outubro, que amplia e renova concessão feita pelo Governo peruano à Bolívia de Zona Franca Industrial e Econômica Especial e de Zona Franca Turística na região do porto de Ilo.

Mensagem ao Ministro David Choquehuanca:

“Senhor Ministro,

Congratulo-me com Vossa Excelência e o Governo boliviano pela assinatura, em 19 de outubro, da ‘Declaração de Ilo’, que reflete os entendimentos para renovar e ampliar a concessão peruana à Bolívia de Zona Franca Industrial e Econômica Especial e da Zona Franca Turística na região do porto de Ilo.

A iniciativa descortina importantes oportunidades para a ampliação do relacionamento entre a Bolívia e o Peru, em contexto de reforço da amizade e da cooperação bilaterais.

A Declaração de Ilo constitui, ademais, contribuição concreta para o desenvolvimento inclusivo e solidário que temos promovido no processo de integração da América do Sul.

Felicito Vossa Excelência e o Governo peruano pela assinatura, em 19 de outubro, da ‘Declaração de Ilo’, documento pelo qual o Peru amplia e renova, por noventa e nove anos, concessão feita à Bolívia de Zona Franca Industrial e Econômica Especial e da Zona Franca Turística.

Tal iniciativa reforça as perspectivas para o aprofundamento das relações entre o Peru e a Bolívia, em clima de crescentes cooperação e amizade.

A Declaração contribui, igualmente, para o processo de integração solidária em curso na América do Sul, trazendo dividendos positivos para o desenvolvimento econômico e social de nossa região.

Minister Celso Amorim sent today the following messages to the Ministers of External Relations of Bolivia, David Choquehuanca Céspedes, and of Peru, José Antonio García Belaúnde, with regard to the Declaration of Ilo, signed on 19 October 2010, which broadens and renews the concession made by the Peruvian Governemnt to Bolivia of a Special Free Economic and Industrial Zone and a Free Tourist Zone in the Ilo port area.

Message to Minister David Choquehuanca:

“Mr. Minister,

I congratulate Your Excellency and the Bolivian Government on the signing of the ‘Ilo Declaration’, on 19 October, which reflects the agreements to renew and broaden the Peruvian concession to Bolivia of a Special Free Economic and Industrial Zone and a Free Tourist Zone in the Ilo port area.

This initiative brings to light many important opportunities to broaden the relationship between Bolivia and Peru, in a context of strengthened bilateral friendship and cooperation.  

The Ilo Declaration is also a concrete contribution to the inclusive and solidary development we have advanced within the South American integration process.
