Em 29 de outubro, o Ministro Celso Amorim recebeu, em Miami, o prêmio “Bravo Business” da revista Latin Trade, na categoria “Innovative Leader of the Year”.
Em 29 de outubro, o Ministro Celso Amorim receberá, em Miami, o prêmio “Bravo Business” da revista Latin Trade, na categoria “Innovative Leader of the Year”. No mesmo dia, será o orador principal do painel “Brazil’s Role in the Global Economy”.
Fundada em 1993, com tiragem bimestral, a revista norte-americana Latin Trade é publicação especializada em temas econômicos, comerciais e empresariais, com ênfase nos países da América Latina e do Caribe. O prêmio “Bravo Business” existe há 16 anos e homenageia personalidades que se tenham destacado nos campos governamental, social e empresarial.
Na cerimônia de 2010, além do Ministro Amorim, serão igualmente agraciados o ex-Presidente da Colômbia, Álvaro Uribe, na categoria “Lifetime Achievement”; o Presidente do BNDES, Luciano Coutinho, na categoria “Financier of the Year”; e o Presidente do Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento (BID), Luis Alberto Moreno, na categoria “Distinguished Service in the Hemisphere”.

On 29 October 2010, Minister Celso Amorim will be honored with the Latin Trade Magazine “Bravo Business Award” in the “Innovative Leader of the Year” category. On the same day, he will be the keynote speaker in a panel on “Brazil’s Role in the Global Economy”.
Founded in 1993, Latin Trade is a bi-monthly American publication that specializes in economic, trade and business affairs, with special attention to Latin American and Caribbean countries. The “Bravo Business” Award is in its 16th yearly edition and honors personalities who have made outstanding contributions to the government, social and business fields.
In addition to Minister Amorim, the 2010 ceremony will award the former President of Colombia, Alvaro Uribe, in the “Lifetime Achievement” category; the President of the Brazilian National Bank for Social and Economic Development (BNDES) in the “Financier of the Year” category; and the President of the Inter-American Development Bank (BID), Luis Alberto Moreno, in the “Distinguished Service in the Hemisphere” category.
