The Brazilian Government congratulates Luis Alberto Arce Catacora and David Choquehuanca on their election to the Presidency and Vice Presidency of the Plurinational State of Bolivia and salutes the Bolivian people and government for holding the election in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. The independent role of the Supreme Electoral Court in the official vote counting and the democratic and constructive attitude of President Jeanine Áñez's administration contributed to the success of the electoral process.

The Brazilian Government praises Bolivia’s political forces for respecting the will of the people expressed on the ballots. It also particularly recognizes the importance of the participation of independent observers from the missions that accompanied the voting process – the OAS, Parlasur, the European Union, the United Nations, Uniore, and The Carter Center – whose scrutiny has helped to secure the legitimacy and transparency of the election and to ensure the respect of the sovereign will of the Bolivian people in choosing their leaders.

The Brazilian Government affirms its willingness to work with the new Bolivian authorities with a view to implementing initiatives of common interest and within the scope of the ties of friendship, neighborhood, and cooperation between the two countries and their peoples.
