The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, will make an official visit to Brazil on June 13. The visit of the Moroccan foreing minister follows the visit to Brasília of the Prime Minister of Morocco, Saadedini El-Othmani, on the occasion of the presidential inauguration on 1 January 2019.
In Brasília, the minister of Foreign Affairs, ambassador Ernesto Araújo, will receive minister Nasser Bourita in a working meeting to address issues on the regional and international agenda. The two ministers will also discuss initiatives to expand and diversify bilateral trade and investments and to strengthen bilateral partnership with the signing of agreements in the areas of investment, legal cooperation and defense and of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between diplomatic academies. In addition, they should advance negotiations of a free trade agreement between Mercosur and Morocco.
