The Brazilian government strongly condemns and sees with great concern the series of attacks against Christians in Burkina Faso, which killed 16 people in the towns of Silgadji (where six people were killed in a Protestant church on April 28), Dablo (where an attack on a Catholic church on May 12 left six dead) and Ouahigouya (where four people were killed during a Catholic procession).

Brazil extends its condolences to the families of the victims and expresses its solidarity with the people and the Government of Burkina Faso. Brazil also reiterates its firm rejection of all forms of terrorism, regardless of their motivation.
