At the invitation of President Jair Bolsonaro, the President of the Republic of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, will visit Brazil on January 16.
President Macri's visit is an opportunity to reaffirm fraternal and deep ties between Brazil and Argentina and to discuss new initiatives in their relationship.
Argentina is one of the major partners of Brazil in all areas. The presidential meeting will aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation on issues such as the fight against organized crime and corruption, energy, space and defense, as well as the expansion of trade and investment. The meeting will also be an opportunity to address the internal and external agenda of Mercosur.
