The visit of the President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, initially scheduled for November 27, will take place on Tuesday, December 5.
Brazil and Bolivia share a wide common border and have a broad and diversified bilateral agenda. The visit aims at strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination in areas such as the fight against transnational crimes, energy, defense, border development, physical infrastructure integration, migratory and consular affairs, trade and investments.
Brazil is Bolivia’s largest trading partner. It is also the main destination market for Bolivian exports (19%). In 2016, bilateral exchange reached US$ 2.8 billion. The Brazilian exports portfolio to Bolivia is diversified and mainly composed of manufactured goods.
