The Brazilian Government vehemently deplores the terrorist attack that occurred in the afternoon of August 17, in Barcelona, which left dozens of wounded and dead. Brazil reiterates its rejection of any and all acts of terrorism, regardless of its motivation. Brazil expresses its sympathies to the families of the victims and its wishes of full and quick recovery to those wounded.
There is no record of Brazilian nationals among the victims until now. The Consulate General of Brazil in Barcelona will continue to monitor the situation closely.
