The Minister of External Relations, Antonio de Aguiar Patriota, will meet with his Bolivian counterpart, David Choquehuanca, in Cochabamba on March 2, 2013. Minister Patriota should also meet with President Evo Morales.
In the meetings, the main topics on the bilateral and regional agenda, such as border integration, Bolivia's accession to MERCOSUR and issues related to UNASUR, will be addressed.
Brazil stands as Bolivia's main trading partner. In 2011, Brazil was the destination of 41.1% of Bolivian exports. Between 2008 and 2012, bilateral trade grew by 22.8%, from US$ 3.99 billion to US$ 4.90 billion.
