The Brazilian Government has been providing assistance, since yesterday, to the victims of a Brazilian bus accident in the province of Entre Rios, Argentina. Officials from the Consulate General of Brazil in Buenos Aires were sent to the scene of the accident, and the Consulate of Brazil in Paso de los Libres provides support at the border. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has kept in permanent contact with the families of the passengers, with Argentinian and Brazilian authorities and with the companies responsible for the trip.
Yesterday night, about 40 passengers traveled back to Brazil. Two Brazilian citizens spent the night in a hospital in the city of San José, under medical care, accompanied by relatives. Itamaraty regrets to confirm the death of two Brazilians in the accident and expresses sympathy to their families. The Consulate General of Brazil in Buenos Aires will provide all the necessary support for the release of the bodies.
