argentinaAt the invitation of President Dilma Rousseff, the President-elect of the Argentine Republic, Mauricio Macri, will visit Brasilia on December 4th, when he will be hosted in an audience at the Planalto Palace.

The meeting between President Rousseff and the President-elect of Argentina presents an opportunity to address themes on the comprehensive bilateral agenda, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest.

Brazil is the first international destination of the President-elect of Argentina, in recognition of the importance of the relations between the two countries. In the year that marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the "Declaration of Iguaçu", the first milestone in the bilateral integration process, the visit of President-elect Mauricio Macri strengthens the priority of Brazil-Argentina relations, which are pivotal to the construction of a peaceful and developed South America and to achieve national development objectives of the two countries.
