The Secretary-General of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sérgio França Danese, and the Corporate Vice President of Caixa Econômica Federal, Antonio Carlos Ferreira, signed today, in Brasilia, a Memorandum of Understanding for the exchange of information to support Brazilian exporters and for the approximation between the products and services offered by CAIXA, in Brazil and abroad, and those provided by the Trade Promotion Network of the Ministry.
The Memorandum of Understanding will also enable the preparation of market studies in countries considered as a priority, as well as material disseminating the productive capacity of the country.
The cooperation mechanism will encourage the participation in fairs and trade missions abroad. In the capacity training area, servants of the Ministry and employees at CAIXA will be able to participate in trainings conducted by the institutions.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding reinforces the work of coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with other entities in the public and private sectors, aiming at promoting Brazilian exports, attracting foreign investment and internationalizing Brazilian companies.
