The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mauro Vieira, will pay an official visit to Colombia on April 28, when he will hold meetings with Foreign Minister María Ángela Holguín and other officials from the Colombian government.
Among the themes addressed are: the peace process in Colombia, bilateral trade, investments, science and technology and cross-border cooperation. Topics on the Latin American integration agenda, such as the rapprochement between MERCOSUR and the Pacific Alliance and the work of UNASUR and CELAC, will also be discussed.
Trade flow between the two countries exceeded US$ 4 billion in 2014. Trade between the two countries has increased 73% between 2009 and 2014.
